Position Title: Head of Communications
Location: Nottingham (city centre)
Working Hours: 25 - 37.5 hours per week, depending on availability and experience
Terms: permanent contract with a six-month probationary period
Remuneration: £32,000-£35,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience

Key responsibilities include:
Design and implement a bold communications strategy for the charity and its social enterprise trading subsidiaries
Lead a small and dynamic comms team
Manage marketing budgets and track ROI
Contribute to grant applications and manage donor communications
Provide strategic input as part of the Executive Team
Play a key role in launching new ventures and growing the profile of the social enterprises
The ideal candidate:
Dynamic and adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and lead people
Proven track record in implementing a communications strategy
Expertise in a variety of digital tools, including website editors
Mission-driven with a desire to further the charity’s aims and promote the value of church-based businesses
Visionary, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically
