Recognised as one the UK's top charities at the 'Oscars of the small charity world'

This week Grace Enterprises was announced as one of the five winners at the Centre for Social Justice Awards, which recognises grass-roots organisations working on the front line to address the causes of poverty and social exclusion.

From an initial 800 charities, we were one of five eventual winners, earning a significant boost in our national profile, as well as funding to help us expand our bakery operations and create even more life-changing jobs.
The awards in Westminster were attended by politicians including the CSJ's chair, Sir Iain Duncan Smith MP and Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport Lisa Nandy MP, who presented Grace Enterprises with their award. Other luminaries included Gareth Southgate and Countdown's Rachel Riley (a big fan of Half the Story's biscuits).

As part of the awards ceremony, the CSJ had created a brand new three minute video highlighting the impact of Grace Enterprises' work, which you can see below.
