Position Title: Operations Manager
Location: Nottingham (city centre)
Working Hours: 25 - 37.5 core hours per week, depending on availability and experience
Terms: permanent contract with a six month probationary period
Remuneration: £27,562.50 per annum pro-rata plus on-call payments
Grace Enterprises has an exciting opening for an Operations Manager to take a key role in the running of two of our pioneering social enterprises. You will be joining a dynamic and committed team based at our office in central Nottingham, working together to see lives transformed through supportive employment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing charity and be an important part of seeing its impact multiplied in the coming years.
We are looking for a talented and systems-oriented individual, who is able to thrive in a fast-paced and varied operational role. You will be primarily focused on Radiant Cleaners, an award-winning cleaning company which was launched in 2017. The business has grown in recent months, with our 30 cleaners currently working at around 50 locations. You will also play a key role in managing Jubilee Events, a marquee hire company now entering its third year of operations.
You will be pivotal in strengthening the operations of the businesses, helping us to provide a consistent and reliable service to our customers. You will also be working in tandem with our Employee Support team and Personnel Manager to ensure that team members are equipped to flourish in their jobs. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate effectively to colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of Radiant Cleaners and Jubilee Events

Line manage Radiant Cleaners’ Operations Coordinator, working together to ensure that operational requirements are met

Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner and manage customer relationships

Schedule rotas and shifts, understanding the requirements of jobs and of team members

Working schedule:
Monday-Friday, with working hours to be arranged depending on availability. Regular on-call availability in mornings and evenings, as part of the Operations Team. Saturday on-call availability on a three week rotation.
